Today, I spent an amazing afternoon with my dear friend at Portobello Road. I have a reach attachment to this area- from the very first time I arrived in London the vivid colours and people just drew me in! We visited one of my favourite Swedish restaurants-‘Lisa’ and it was great to again taste a proper Swedish coffee after so long! With that in mind, this then leads me onto my outfit that I am wearing today. It definitely reflects my minimalistic style and influence of Scandinavian fashion and culture as I spent so many enjoyable years living there. I just bought this incredible winter coat at Totême and since then it is been an essential element of my wardrobe. It’s just so easy to style the coat with simple black bag and ankle boots- a total no-brainer! And how gorgeous is this Ziptop Cross Body Bag from Radley London? It literally fits everything into it- so its perfect for university, throwing in my make-up for a night out after work or my new book ‘The little book of Hygge’.
I recently started reading the book by Meik Wiking and it has been a real eye opener for how I can remember and start to enjoy the small things in life like hanging out with friends, morning coffee&cake and travelling. Have a look at the review of this book and let me know your thoughts in the comment section- have us millennials forgotten the art of appreciating the little things?
